Wow, talk about a different exam than presented here! Most of the test I took revolved around the Ottoman Empire during the 19th century. The test name is misleading, as the term 'modern' leads you to believe happenings since WWII seem more important to our world what color hats people wore in 1831 (yes, that was an actual question) while the PLO was not even mentioned once.
I don't feel I am being harsh, but honest. This site gives you a good background to understand the current happenings in the Middle East, but unfortunately not for the DSST exam.
