I am planning to take the Intro to Business law and the college math Clep. I was wondering has anyone taken the tests? Are the instacerts flashcards adequate for study material or are there any other suggestions. Thanks

First, I would pop over to the specific exam feedback threads for these exams. If you want you can also do a general search of the forum, which may garner further hints.

College Mathematics CLEP: http://www.degreeforum.net/specific-exam...-clep.html
I have taken only the latter of the two. For College Math, I'd say IC is enough if you don't have much trouble with math. Otherwise, more brushing up may be necessary.

I have done the Introduction to Business Law CLEP. The thing about both the CLEP and DSST business law exams is that you will need to have more than just the ability to memorize certain facts. They are practical exams based largely on how English common law is used in business settings, so you need to be able to analyze a set of facts and apply the law to them. You should know the basics of contract and tort law, as well as some criminal, constitutional, and bankruptcy law.
If your local library has some law lectures on CD called "Sum & Substance," I recommend obtaining them. Once you understand all of the material mentioned on the Contract, Criminal, and Tort CDs, you should be able to pass the exam with flying colours. You should also be able to pass if you find any freshman-level business law textbook at your local library and read through it, as the CLEP business law exam is the equivalent to a freshman business law course.
See my sig line if you're interested in study tips for both the CLEP Introductory Business Law exam and the DSST Business Law II exam.

I took and passed the Introduction to Business Law CLEP using only InstaCert and studying for less than a week. If I were to use an additional source, it would be the Barron's Business Law book which will help with both the CLEP and the DSST Business Law II.
