Bankruptcy

Anyone have personal experience filing for bankruptcy while owing a university? Not a student loan, but a balance at the school. Not looking for legal advice; I have that in spades. Just curious about personal experience and how much that kind of debt caused a delay, because I've seen some horror stories. You can DM me if you're not comfortable posting publicly. 
And I'm aware I have to list the debt, just trying to prepare myself for what it will entail.
