International Transcript Evaluation
#11
That does help some but I'm still confused about one thing. If the evaluation service gave me 2.5 credits for English Composition I and TESU only took it as 2.5 credits, do I still need to take English Composition I since I don't have 3 credits on the books for that class? I would think not since you said "TESU is fine with using it to meet requirements," but want to make sure.

No, you would not have to re-take English Comp if you get 2.5 credits for it in your evaluation. TESU would put it in the Written Communication slot and then expect you to take an extra gen ed to make up the credit shortfall. Thankfully, there are a lot of gen eds at Sophia these days, so that shouldn't be an issue.

That's right, you have to make up that .5 of a credit with a general education elective of your choice. Grab anything from Sophia.org free, such as their 1 credit classes, while you're working on the other courses required for max transfer into the degree of your choice at TESU.

Interesting. I would have thought they'd be more strict than that. That's great news. Thank you for the explanation.

Nah, TESU is pretty chill. At least, compared to many other universities.
