I have been taking the American Government Course. I realize that the course is based upon a 1000 points possible, and that the final exam is worth up to 300 points.

The question is this: Does the final exam have to be passed at a certain level to count (such as 70%) or it the only determining factor of passing the class you’re overall points out of the 1000? 

I’m a first time user for these classes. TIA

If you already have 70% you can fail it and still pass. I would highly suggest passing it since some schools require and 80% for ACE approved courses.

I received a 62% on my final. I thought I honestly had done better. With the final I have 820 of the available 1000 points or 82% for the overall course. I assume a 62% is passing (typically 60 is a D), combined with my other points gives me a B- overall?
