I'm an IC subscriber and just recently went through the flashcards for College Comp. for my CLEP next Friday. I passed the first multiple choice with 100% and the others with about 5 to 6 wrong. I'm re-reading my REA book and taking the practice tests on the CD.

I also need to practice my essay writing. I hear there is a citation requirement. Does anyone know if they provide sources to cite or do we make that up in our essay?

They provide them. When I took the test I had two sources, both polar opposite viewpoints. You must use both sources in your synthesis essay. My sources were a few paragraphs in length each, so make sure you use your time wisely. If you spend too much time reading your sources you will deprive yourself of writing time. I quickly read through both of my sources, using just enough time to grasp what position on the topic each held and why. I could then go back and select any statements I needed to include in my essay without having to read through all of it again, losing my train of thought.

IC doesn't cover A & I. Just cover language terms etc. There is a lot covered in this forum regarding A & I if you do a search

In the upper righthand corner of this web page you can find the words Advanced Search. You can click on that. Or you can look just above those words and find a textbox. You can enter your search term(s) in that box and hit enter.
