InstantCert's Managerial Accounting- BSBA GM Specialization UL still possible?

I saw on another thread that the Managerial Accounting course in Instant Cert credit goes into TESU as UL course ACC-312 Financial Accounting II

Does the InstantCert Managerial Accounting still work for the BSBA GM AOS Upper-Level requirement?

I just heard back from my advisor by email and it said:
"Unfortunately though, this course cannot be used there, as it would only go into the CORE's Accounting section, which we have ACC-102 from Study.com planned there."

I think I'd ask TESU what the course comes in as, and get in confirmed in writing that it's ACC-312 rather than ACC-102; that's really what you need to know. Once that info is confirmed, then you can figure out where it will go (you wouldn't even need to ask them).

The advisors there are not the greatest, so asking where it will go rather than what the course equivalency is, will not always get you a good answer.

I would tread with caution, I've recommended this course many times over. However, advisors at TESU keep telling students that the course material is too similar to a lower level course and pushing back at adding this course to the academic evaluations for pre-approval. If you really like accounting and want to take something UL, take it, but have something else in place as a back up option!

Can you tell us how you learned this? Did you actually take the course and transfer it to TESU, and it's on your Eval?
