There is a trend started on social media of clowns going out and scaring people. There are few schools in Texas that have received threats from clowns. Last night, a Texas State University student was allegedly assaulted by someone dressed as a clown. It might be time for me to start carrying my gun again to protect myself from these stupid people.

Not a bad idea to pack some heat, this is not a laughing matter. But don't be too quick to judge all clowns based on the clowning around of a few.

This was funny a while back when people were just being weird, dressing up as clowns, and hanging out in unexpected places for the creepy/odd factor of it.
Of course it's now turned violent and it's all ruined. Idiots.

They still have to confirm whether the assault was real, but the death threats to the schools were easy to confirm since they came from social media posts.

Clowns also threatened individual students. There have been death threats made by "clowns" in Florida, New York, and other states.

Not that that I'd suspect you disagree, but even if the assault can't be confirmed, just the fact that idiots are threatening people is gross enough.

There's more and more people (criminals) using these "clown costumes" as disguises to attack/kidnap children.
This is getting scary, serious and stupid... I hope the culprits get placed behind bars a long time.

My husband has always hated clowns. God help anyone coming near his little girl in a clown costume now.
