Came across this job ad for the position of Security Consultants from MWR, a multinational cybersecurity firm.
https://careers.mwrinfosecurity.com/Jobs...l=New-York
Wittily, the ad mentioned that :
We want people with at least one, preferably two, of the following:
- WebApp Testing. You know your way around burp, and can do SQLi without using SQLmap.
- Infrastructure Testing. You understand that this doesn’t just mean running Nessus.
- Mobile App Testing. You know that Drozer is the best tool ever for Android testing and you’ll also know what you’d use for testing on the other major platforms.

OSCP & OSCE won’t hurt your chances, CEH might
Is CEH really that bad a credential?

This is just one job ad that takes the informal approach of making jokes. It's not serious, and it's not representative of all employers.
I find these cheesy job ads to be a turnoff and avoid employers like this like the plague.

If you wanted to apply for that job and had a CEH credential - you could just leave it off your resume. Nothing says you HAVE to put something on there.
Unless it's a joke, in which case it's not really funny.
