Registering for a TECEP

I know its not rocket science but Im having the darnedest time trying to locate the registration on the OSS. Strange part is, I did it the other day but didn't make the payment because I need to make the Study.com adjustment to waive the cornerstone.

Sidebar// I sent the email to make the change yesterday and have heard nothing back although they responded to another subsequent email I sent *annoyed* How long does it typically take for them to respond correct? Do they contact Study.com directly or do I need to send something over?

Back to the point: The instructions seem to say "Register here( here being a link to OSS) but the navigation details are lacking, unless I'm missing something.

Please help. I want to get in before they start charging $1500 for a class I don't care about.

When I signed up I just went into the "Search, Register or Drop courses" link. Then "Search, register and pay for courses". Then in the dropdowns clicked on the next term (in this case is April 2017), Then in the subject dropdown clicked Business. Then check the box for "BUS-421-TE100 (51252) Business Administration Capsto" and click Submit. There is still 27/50 spots open so you shouldn't have an issue getting into this. You also don't have to wait to have the cornerstone removed to pay for the TECEP. When you go to pay just pay the $114 and you can have them remove the cornerstone whenever.

As far as how TESU validating study.com membership, I am guess they will just give you the discount but if you send in transcripts and ZERO study.com credits show up they will remove you from the special pricing and add back the cornerstone requirement. They updated my accounting to that Corporate choice applicant thing rather quickly when I e-mailed them. They also now have my ACE transcript that shows 21 credits from Study.com (and 12 more soon).

I never received the response to my email and my application designation does not appear to have changed but when I added the TECEP to my "cart" there was no cornerstone added on top and my balance due remained $114. I'll search the other threads for the details on when to schedule with ProctorU. I know I have until June 25 but I don't know how much lead time is required since this will be my very first ...well, all of it. First at home, online Proctor exam, first TECEP, first course requiring this much study (I've only take Int Alg, Coll Alg & Stats with Aleks, plus the free Ethics course).

My goal remains to be in and out of the BSBA Gen Management by September (for December Grad, only because I don't think I'll be done in time to apply for September Grad with the June submission deadline).

In OSS log in and go to "My Profile" and look at your student status. Mine says "CPPEN Corporate Choice Enrolled" yours should look similar except it will say applicant if you aren't currently enrolled.

Are there other perks to this affiliation that the change would allow? Is it worth sending another email (since I never got a "ticket closed" email)? Or should I divert my eyes from the mouth of this gift-horse?

You also get $200 off the residency waiver and 5% off tuition for online courses. Definitely worth getting. There are other ways to get the cornerstone waived. If you transfer in enough credits (104) that will do it.

I think TESU is a bit behind right now, I just got notification the received my CLEP transcript yesterday. The e-mail said they received it on 3/6/17

that residency discount is great if I can get all the Study.com courses out of the way ASAP.

Does the Guardian Scholarship count as "membership" for the purposes of changing my application status? I never received a formal response from TESU but whoever worked the "ticket" responded to the sender saying "she has not applied" to Study.com. Perhaps they neglected that Im copied on the ticket.

Anyway, I am a "Member" just not a paid member. But this should still count, correct?
