Hello,
I was wondering if anyone here has Taken the Sayors final using instacert to study for it?
Does anyone know if it would be close as far as info needed to pass? I guess for $25.00 and the time to take the exam I could find out for myself.

Input anyone?

Which Saylor exam are you planning to take?
Personally, I just used the Saylor materials to prepare for the Saylor exams, since those materials were free anyway.

I was looking at principles of marketing, business law & ethics, principles of man, and corp com.
I was just thinking if the Saylor tests were equivalent to clep or dsst , instacert would be a quicker way to study.:-)

Based on my experiences, I'd say you'll be better off using the Saylor resources. Don't get me wrong; I LOVE InstantCert and have used them to great success on other exams, as have many others on this forum. That being said, I recently took the Saylor exams for Marketing, Management, and Corporate Communication. For the Marketing exam, many of the questions are based primarily upon the text. For the Management exam, there were several questions that were VERY specific to the content in the Saylor course--some "according to the text" or "in the video lecture" type of questions. While there will undoubtedly be overlap between the InstantCert material and the Saylor content, I don't know if InstantCert by itself may necessarily be enough for a 70% passing score on these exams. If you prefer to use InstantCert, then I'd suggest at least skimming the texts in the Saylor courses and watching part of the video lectures.

You should use the Saylor materials. IC is designed to target a specific exam, not the Saylor exams. Hope that helps.
