Hello everyone, thank you for taking the time to read this post.
I've been attending community college for 3 semesters and on advice from a close friend have been directed to this site. I've been pursuing a degree in IT since it's been my passion for the past 7 years (5 years in the military as an Information System Specialist).
I've decided I want to obtain a BA so I can teach English in Korea/Japan and do something I've always wanted to do in my 20s.
I am using the Post 9/11 GI Bill and want to complete a degree as fast as possible, I've declined job offers in LA so I can focus 100% on finishing. What would be the smartest path? Continue community college and complete clep tests?
Any advice is greatly appreciated! Have a great weekend
I have about 22 credits from my community college and possibly military credits
I don't know financial aid or the GI bill very well, but I do know that taking college classes versus the credits we talk about here is going to be way slower even for a student that can complete academic work quickly. With the credits we talk about here, you don't need to quit working. Many of us can complete degrees quickly with full-time jobs. I wouldn't be turning down jobs once you go down this route.

I second jsd's suggestion, WGU has IT degrees, they accept ACE-recommended credits (they are Straighterline partners, take CLEP/DSST, ALEKS, etc.). They accept financial aid (not sure how that all works, and how the GI bill works, but they are pretty helpful when you call). The BSIT also includes the cost of taking a bunch of certs, which in and of itself can be useful.
WGU is $2,890/6-month term.
The one thing you need to remember with WGU is that after you apply and get your evaluation, you are then allowed to go and grab some inexpensive credits. So you could see what they give you, grab inexpensive credits to fill out the LL requirements, and then enroll and get the last of what you need. BUT, if you apply, get your eval, and then enroll, you cannot get any additional credits outside of WGU. So make sure you don't enroll until you have all of the inexpensive credits you can get.
If you post your credits here, and military stuff, someone can probably help you figure out which courses to take before you apply to WGU.

Thank you so much for the WGU suggestion, is there a difference between WGU and let's say TESU's Information Techology Degree?
I am posting my military transcript I was just able to get a hold, and what I can from the community college I am attending. Honestly, I feel kind of lost in the situation and and trying to get on track to finish by next year.
Here is my military transcript summary, I also have 25 credits from my current JC, and 3 (Java programming) at another. Any help is really appreciated!
