NCSU has rejected two UW-Flex classes I asked about for credit. And, those classes had descriptions very similar to existing NCSU classes that would fulfill requirements for me, so I guess they didn't like the self-paced format.
This is exasperating as I try to imagine months or maybe a year of being in scheduled online classes every night or maybe having to drive to campus for certain classes, and I am wondering at this point if I should transfer to an entirely self-paced program, even though I would need to complete 30+ hours as opposed to the 16 or so hours I need to complete at NCSU.
NCSU does not offer all of the classes I need every semester, so right off the bat, this means I couldn't graduate until next May (if everything goes right) anyway.
