If you have spoken with helpful people at TESC, can you share their names?
#1
I'm so beyond frustrated with TESC I could scream. I wish I could go elsewhere, but due to the nature of my degree I cannot. I have never spoken with a single helpful, knowledgeable person there (with one exception, but this person can't help me with this situation). Some of you have said that you did. Any advice for me? Someone I can specifically ask for with questions regarding my degree?

What's your major, and have you tried sending emails with the title of your degree as the subject line? It's supposed to be directed to an advisor that specializes in your program or an assistant dean in the school that houses your program. If you've mostly been making phone calls, you've mostly been wasting your time.

What is the issue regarding? If you are calling the expressline you are usually going to get folks who are generalized. You may need to schedule a 30min phone appointment with an advisor in your department. Those in the correct department are more knowledgeable about specific degree questions or can always contact the schools Dean for guidance/approvals.

Regina Roberts in the Registrar's office was a lifesaver for me on a couple of occasions.
Patricia Certo was my academic advisor and she was helpful too when I visited her in Trenton.

Patricia Certo in Advising also answered probably 99% of my emails and was always spot-on with her advice and recommendations.

Thanks, everyone. I had previously tried both email and phone to no avail. I did schedule a 30 minute appt with an adviser who wasn't a lot of help, but at least I was pointed in the right direction.

Unfortunately you still have not stated the issue? It's hard to give feedback when we don't know the problem. If not able to answer/approve courses the advisor should have been able to take the concern up a level or two for consideration (Director/Dean of the School).
