Idiot's Guide to Am Lit - cracked? possible trade?
#1
Just wondering if anyone has a usable electronic copy of The Complete Idiot's Guide to American Literature. I bought an electronic copy of the book (which is now out of print and used copies are $40 and up) from ebookmall.com, only to discover after paying that I've bought a crippled version that can only be read using Adobe Digital Edition. I can't print or annotate it! Ripoff doesn't even begin to describe this.

Anyway, I just thought I would check here and see if anyone has a cracked version of the book -- either a PDF, a hard copy, or anything I can print out. I have purchased the book and have a right to fair use of it. I can provide my receipt as proof of purchase for anyone who's nervous about sharing a PDF with me.

I have a few books I can offer in trade:
  • REA Principles of Management
  • REA Principles of Marketing
  • Barron's EZ101 English Lit
  • Cliffs Notes American Government
  • REA Business Law
  • REA Human Growth & Dev
  • REA Intro to Ed Psych
  • REA CLEP General Exams
  • Kaplan CLEP General Exams (2005 version)

Thanks for any help!

Hey Kelly.

I don't have an electronic copy, I just wanted to give you some advice. I would suggest getting a copy of the book from your local library...I'd be absolutely shocked if they don't have a copy. Even if that particular branch doesn't own a copy, through the Interlibrary Loan system, they should be able to get the book from some branch in your state.

I'm also going to be taking the CLEP American Literature exam very soon and grabbed a copy of the book from my local library.

The library is a tremendous resource...I'm still amazed at how many people don't utilize this hidden treasure!!!

Hope this info helps you.
