IXL Learning acquires Rosetta Stone

Oh yeah, Rosetta Stone has been bought out again... hopefully for the better, read all about it here!

It was one of a few language tools I've used before, but never really liked it as much as some peers did.

Rosetta Stone has some good features. But, yeah, I don't really like them as much as other options. They can be the only halfway-decent resource for a couple of languages, though.

This makes a ton of sense. We use IXL as a background supplement to our classes. The English and math exercises are excellent. They do offer a small, bare-bones Spanish section, but it is terrible. I think, content-wise, this makes total sense for IXL.
