I am Currently taking tests to achieve a BSBA Human Resources from TESU. i plan on taking "Analyzing and interpreting literature" to satisfy "information literacy" gen ed requirement which only needs 3 credits but "Analyzing and interpreting literature" gives 6 credits at TESU. I'm wondering if the remaining three can count as the total credits needed. maybe count as elective credit? if so i pan on trying to take as many 6 credit classes as possible.
thanks again guys for your help. don't think this would have been possible for me without the help of several of you.

I think ACE only recommends 3 credits now for that exam. Please check with TESU to be sure if they receive it as 6 credits.

I ended up with 6 credits with a 12/2015 exam date. It originally received 3 instead of 6 and then TESU updated to 6 on their own. This doesn't necessarily mean you'll get 6.

I think they switched the number of credits you get for that particular exam from 6 to 3 around 12/31. It used to be LIT-291 and LIT-292; LIT-291 would clear the Info Lit Requirement and LIT-292 would go to Gen Ed.

Analyzing & Interpreting Literature *
LIT-291 Analysis & Interpretation of Literature and LIT-292 Analysis & Interpretation of Literature II 6 2/28/18
Can someone please tell me the most recent time they had this come in for 6 full credits. My orginal plan is for 3 in Info Lit and 3 in Gen Ed. If it only counts as 3 I'd like to know asap. I can spend the $70 for an extra exam on study.com and do some easy Gen Ed course to make up for it. Rather know now rather then later down the road.

For some of the CLEPs that were downgraded by ACE TESU did their own review. TESU still accepts some of the CLEP exams as 6 credits. A and I Lit is one of them. It counts as 3 credits for info lit and 3 credits for gen ed.
