I am about to finish my BSBA, but I am floundering with the decision of what to do next. I would love to study instructional technology, but it appears that my lack of graded credits may become a hurdle. Because of this I am considering a second bachelor's degree in the Social Sciences. This would allow me to gain another 30 graded credits, improve my writing skills, and study subjects that I am excited about. After a year of business subjects, I am ready for some liberal arts.
I don't really have a question, just felt like rambling.

Decisions, decisions. Although in my mid-50s, I plan to work for another 15+ years. I can retire with a pension now, but I can't figure out what I want to do for the next 15 years. There has never been a career that I dreamed of pursuing, so I don't know what to choose.

Master of Education in Education Technology Leadership - Lamar University
Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership - Lamar University
I know a few (well. four) people who have gotten their MEd through this Lamar program, and apparently it is very manageable. They felt like they learned a lot, at least. Lamar offered a partnership with local school districts that cut teacher tuition down to $4K for the program when it first started, but I'm pretty sure they're not offering that any more.

There are so many online education programs out there, I don't think the lack of graded credits is going to be an issue. If you're willing to attend a for-profit college, it won't be an issue at all. :p
