I've been reading the forums and there is a lot to take in. I am seeing a lot of options and just need help to decide what path to take. I recently was offered a job in real estate assessment for the county I live in, and they like to promote quickly but I don't have a degree so I will be very limited as to how far up the ladder I can go and how fast the promotions come. My main goal is to get a bachelor in something quick and easy (i know those are relative terms) since the county doesn't care what my degree is in just that I have a degree. I am open to anything right now and once I have the degree I could plan a second more specific degree in a related field or more suited to my interests/hobbies. I have 10 credits from a local CC to start with and have been looking at TESU but I could use some advice before I pull the trigger. the credits I have are as follows:
ENGL-102 29 English Composition 102 3.00cr,
MUS.-182 01 Jazz Appreciation 3.00cr,
ENGL-101 62 English Composition 101 3.00cr,
COMG-150 10 Intro to Computer Technology 1.00cr
Thanks in advance!

Get your general education requirements completed and decide on the degree while you're doing so.
Review the Beginners Guide in the Wiki and review the contents of the wiki as well.
You need to get yourself a spreadsheet going to keep reference and track your progress.

Start with the FREE courses & ALEKS courses to get your math/general education credits/free electives
Then work on Straighterline/Study.com courses for the remainder of the degree (but capstone).

Look into the BSBA at TESU. Business would make sense for that type of job. There are only 17 days or less to get into the program without the capstone requirement. The capstone adds a lot of time and money. Then I think you should be focused on passing the TECEP, so that you can make alternate plans if you don't pass.

How do you avoid the capstone?

There is a TECEP you can take instead of the capstone, just for that one degree. It's about Strategic Management but has other names too.
They are discontinuing the TECEP, so many of us are rushing to take it.

The name has been changing. It's BUS 421.
Have you already applied at TESU? That can take at least a couple days.
Late registration is May 21â25. Maybe they will extend it like last time, but I wouldn't count on it.

I don't think there would be a benefit to doing it that way. They would charge you more for the TECEP.
Also, put that you are affiliated with study.com to save money.

ok, so does that mean I have 17 days to take the TECEP or just to get into the program?
