Can anyone help me out with a calculator question???? I have a TI BAII and while running through a few probablility questions i realized i must have a setting wrong because I can't get the results for say, 20 factorial. I get this 2.432902(a few spaces)18. This will screw me up completely if I don't get this right. I am testing Wednesday! thanks in advance for your help

my ba-ii plus does the same thing any calculations exceeding 10 digits gets displayed in scientific notation, so thats the correct number 2.432902*10^18th.
the exact number is 2432902008176640000
even my PE exam approved casio fx-115es does this, just lists out to 9 significant digits instead of 6.

You can change the rounding on most calculators so you could get something like 2.4e18 instead of the big long string of numbers but the big long string is what you want. The number at the end tells you how far to move the decimal point. 2.43e2 would be 243.00 or 2.43e-2 would be .00243
The main problem is that 20 factorial is just a huge number, I would expect tests would have smaller numbers since you are looking for the subject knowledge and not how big of number you can handle.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.
