KayV Wrote:Also some recent threads: thank you sir ![]() Here is my spreadsheet for the cheapest GM degree to date. As far as I know everything on here is still good to go. This is the cheapest degree I could come up with but not the easiest or quickest. It utilizes CLEP to maximize price for the 6 credit exams. Edit : You can sub out the AoS on Study.com/SL for the classes you want I used a bulk of Accounting Courses. I would recommend keeping Intermediate Accounting I and Advanced Accounting then sub out whatever.

But you have to take the cornerstone and capstone still, right? I was under the impression those aren't test outable anymore.

The cornerstone is waived if you transfer in 104+ cr, and the BSBA capstone can be tested out of -- it's the Strategic Management TECEP. non business BA degrees need to take the actual capstone course.

Boy I am happy to hear that! I was dreading having to take those.
I thought you had to take one, and had to do a now non-accepted course from PF to waive it. Will passing the strategic management TECEP count as enrolling?

Now, they will accept the PF course, but as an AOS course, so it's not a good deal. Instead, you can take Strategic Management (the capstone) online or as a TECEP.

casteeljack Wrote:Why wouldnt it be quick are these classes or test? Some of these are the "self-paced courses that you just have to take a few quizzes/exams that you can complete over the weekend" that i told you about on the first page. They're still pretty quick. Even normal the tests like CLEP, et al aren't necessarily quicker than these courses, because you still need to study and learn the material before taking the exams. Saylor, for example is often said to be quite cumbersome in their study material, even though it's a test-out option. spend some time reading around the forums for more information and opinions on the various options.
