the number of credits doesn't always determine the amount of work. IMO, it's more trouble than it's worth (and more expensive) chasing a science lab when you can hit a homerun with any 6 credit science CLEP for $80.

Ah, but only if you can hit a home run. I couldn't pass a science CLEP right now if my life depended on it!!
This science lab in particular is VERY easy, but I agree that a SL one would more expensive and more work than just taking a 3-cr course (It's $99 for membership, $49 for the course, and $98 + shipping for the lab kit for Bio I).

Environmental Science - Tor College Credits - NCCRS evaluated - $220 including proctoring fee. I haven't done it but it looks appealing.

You and me both. I took all my TESC and post-bac sciences as classes, no way I could memorize all that lol. But, I'm not an especially good tester, so just throwing it out there.

I signed up with Rio but then received a message that the college is not authorized to provide distance learning education in state of Georgia - that is weird and have never heard of so it didn't let me register for the FON100 Nutrition Lab. Anyone know how to get around it???
