I am looking to complete my capstone at the beginning of the year and finally put an end to this process I’ve taken far too long on. I did however want to tap into the brain power on this site.
Since I am already here completing BSBA Marketing should I pursue an additional AOS? The first one coming to mind was CIS as that might assist with any tech related career paths. Another was Organizational Management. In your experiences does it help bolster a resume having two AOS? Is it too much trouble trying to coordinate this with TESU? Are the combinations mentioned even possible?

Honestly, I think it depends on where you're at in your career, and what your aspirations are. I don't think a dual AOS BSBA is extremely valuable. I was thinking about adding CIS to my in-progress OpMgmt but I decided against it. The $ and effort aren't worth the additional marginal benefit. I think if you want the next step, an MBA in a valuable concentration is a better ROI.
The combination is possible, and it shouldn't be too much trouble. I've been in the business world for 10+ years, and if I saw a resume with a bachelor's with two AOS I wouldn't give it a lot of weight. Of course, I am no expert, this is just my opinion.
In Progress: MBA - HAUniv, Anticipated 2024
Completed: BSBA OpMgmt - TESU June 2021
UG - AP Tests: 20 credits | APICS: 12 Credits | CLEP: 6 credits | Saylor Academy: 6 credits | Sophia.org: 27 credits | Study.com: 12 credits | Davar Academy: 3 credits | TESU: 15 credits | Other College: 99.5 credits
GR - HAUniv: 9 credits

I think it's more about being able to use one specific AOS for a job advertisement, rather than always sending out one single generic CV.
For example: If I have an AOS each in Computer Science and Accounting, this means that I could choose to list the accounting AOS for a job geared more towards accounting, or the computer science AOS for a job geared more towards IT, or for a company that is tech-based.
CVs should always be tailored specifically for the job you're applying for. The more opportunity you have to tailor, the better your chances.

Adding a CIS AOS to Accounting should be (relatively) easy to do. If you haven't already seen it, check out https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...an#CIS_AOS for a list of courses that are required for the BSBA CIS.
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

That's extremely fair, and that's why I said it depended on your career status and aspirations. But yes, it opens more opportunities, but they're likely to be mutually exclusive in my experience.

Thank you so much. My ideal career path is in Business Analytics. Currently I am in Hospitality Operations so I haven’t started the specific career branch of Analytics just yet.

If you do the BSBA CIS, you may as well get an Associates Degree in Computer Science.
You pretty much have to take no extra courses and won't cost you any more.
Degrees: BA Computer Science, BS Business Administration with a concentration in CIS, AS Natural Science & Math, TESU. 4.0 GPA 2022.
Course Experience: CLEP, Instantcert, Sophia.org, Study.com, Straighterline.com, Onlinedegree.org, Saylor.org, Csmlearn.com, and TEL Learning.
Certifications: W3Schools PHP, Google IT Support, Google Digital Marketing, Google Project Management

Road Runner Here <JK>... Just an FYI, your BSBA with an AOS or two at the end of the day remains just a BSBA. If you're going to compete with others that have a true accounting, CIS degree or any specific degree with a major other than Business Admin, your BSBA will lose out. If you read your own first sentence, you want to get this done ASAP.
Yes, a second AOS may open doors, but I would use that 18 credits towards a Masters, you'll be half way done! If you go for a competency based masters, you'll probably be done at the same time as completing your second AOS. You have a couple of choices, you decide which would be cheaper, easier, faster, and provides you that extra value/ROI.
Update: The only reason I would actually recommend you to do a second AOS, is if you can take some courses at TESU towards your Masters degree using their Bachelors to Masters option OR to use the courses towards eliminating the residency waiver fee, OR if you can take those courses towards completing a second degree.

Is there a particular thread that best details a competency based Masters?
