I have to take this test in couple of weeks. Could you please give some more tips now that you have taken the test. What do you think would be helpful to prepare for the test--and what kind of things did the test focus on? Thanks so much--any help would be appreciated!! I am studying REA, IC flashcards , Wiki, and Sparknotes. It just seems like a broad topic and it would be helpful to know what to focus on the most

You probably are better prepared as far as covering your bases goes. The most important thing is that you do the IC flashcards multiple times. If you are scoring higher each time then you know you are retaining more. You need to be well read on the following people: Piaget, Kohlberg, Erikson, Freud, Bandura, Pavlov (and any others that are covered in the REA book). I studied with the REA book, but some of the information on the test was not even covered in the book. So DIVERSIFY!!! Wiki, IC and REA are all I used. The test was heavy on infant and early childhood development.
Here is a link where they list the percentages of topics covered on the test. I studied with this list to make sure I hit harder on areas that had a higher percentage.
CLEP: Human Growth and Development
Let me know how it goes!!! God Bless!
