Hi All: I'm hoping someone knows the answer to my question since most of you have done both Associate and Bachelors through TESC. I tried calling TESC but they are closed for the holidays until next week - bummer.
I would like to apply for an Associate in Administrative Studies or Arts and also for a Bachelors in Humanities.
Question is, do I have to enroll twice- enroll for theAssociate and enroll again for the Bachelors?? Or do I just pay the enrollment fee for the year and I can get both degrees? I read the catalog but may have missed the info on this. Fund are low so I'm hoping I can just pay one enrollment fee.
As always, I really appreciate all the guidance.
Cheers,

tester, unfortunately you have to pay twice, I'm in the same boat. I just paid $247 for my AA with TESC to receive in March 2010 and will have to pay $247 for a BA in Liberal Studies with TESC to be received in June 2010. If you plan on finishing your Bachelor's you may just want to pay for your BA only. In my case I'm applying to jobs in the public sector and some agencies pay separately for an AA and a BA.

Hi Taylor et Al: Thanks for the info - I'm also looking at getting my BA in June 2010.
In addition to $257 for AA and another $257 for BA, do I also pay the enrollment fee of $2520 plus? I plan on taking only one course with TESC to get a GPA when I graduate.
I'm overseas on assignment so it's kind of difficult and expensive to call them to clarify.
Appreciate the tips and thanks a whole bunch.

Hello Tester. I'm about 99% sure you have to pay an enrollment fee but this one I would call them to make sure. Good luck!

Hello Tester,
I'm dual enrolled in TESC - AAS & BASS and your annual tuition is for both programs as they are actually linked. There is also a one time application fee upon enrollment ($75). When you are ready to graduate you pay the $247 for the AAS and then a second $247 for the Bachelors. The graduation fees are separate from tuition fees.
This dual program actually saves money. I'm sorry just noted you were a BA Humanities. So yes, you should be fine. As you are taking your classes they are added to both degrees. All gen ed credits are shared. Any business courses from the associates will go to the bachelors free electives. So you are still able to use those credits. Any remaining free elective slots can be filled with FEMA's.
Good luck!

Cheers,
The only additional cost when adding a second degree is the additional graduation fee. In fact, you'll fill out your application and just put in one degree for now. Once they get you into a myEdison account, you can email advising and they will add on your second degree for no charge. You'll have two screens- one for each degree. As you earn credits, they will be applied to both degree plans as applicable.
When the time comes, you will NOT be allowed to graduate with both at the same time. You'll be required to split the graduation dates by a minimum of 1 term (3 months) and when you file for graduation, you pay the fee both times.
