Haaaaaaa!
That sounds about right. The only thing you forgot to mention is that, once Sally has scored our exams, she mails our results to us via square-wheeled stagecoach.

I was just reading over this thread this morning, and it does seem to infer that the people at DSST will tell you if you passed over the phone???I can wait on the scores etc to be sent to my school, but knowing if I passed or not, (relevant to my school's required score) would be invaluable so I could plan more tests or not if need be.
Just checking
Thanks,

CT,
DANTES won't call you with your results under any circumstances.
You can pay for two additional services:
1. DANTES will expedite the grading of your exam and the mailing of your score report to you.
2. DANTES will call your school's contact person to tell them ONLY whether you passed or failed (not your actual score).
Option 1 is useful if you are in a hurry to receive your score report, and don't want to wait the usual 2-3 weeks.
Option 2 is useful if you are very near the end of your degree and your school just needs to know that you passed your last exam before processing your degree. Once DANTES has called your school, you can contact your school to find out from them whether you passed or failed. But you will still not know your actual score until you receive the official score report in the mail.
Hope that helps,
Snazzlefrag

Ha ha!
Sadly, I don't think there is anything "Express" about the way our DANTES scores get to us.
Of course, that's the price we pay for taking untimed exams. There are a couple of exams I have taken that would have been much more troublesome had they been timed. So there are definitely pros AND cons to DANTES.

It is very helpful to know that there is option #2. I am on a timeline, and to have to plan for more tests would be a major hassle.
Thanks, Snazzle!
