However, I would supplement my studying with some of the online resources in the specific exam feedback section: http://www.instantcertonline.com/forums/...-dsst.html

I scored an "A" on Drugs and Alcohol using this process:
DAY 1: Download all of the posts for the exam from Instacert, then copy/paste all of the Instacert flashcards so I could print/review on paper. Anything on the posts I didn't see in the flashcards I looked up/printed from Wikapedia. DAY 2: Read the flashcards, some 80 pages when printed. Using a highlighter I would mark anything I didn't already know. DAY 3: After going through the cards in this manner I would reread just the highlights. During this review I would write notes on the paper adjacent to the flashcard notes on anything I didn't remember from the first read. This review was much quicker than the first where I read all of the flashcards. After that, still on Sunday, I would do a third review where I read just the handwritten notes. I would highlight the handwritten notes that I did not remember so well. Sort of whittled down the info on three reviews. On Day 4 I read just the highlighted handwritten notes. Then took my test that morning. This worked very well for CLEP and DANTES, scoring "A's" or A-level grades on every CLEP and DANTES exam. Excelsior exams however I didnât do so well. You can see those grades I missed the B grade cutoff by one point on many of those exams. I also took exams on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Same process, but I only could get two reviews before testing. I looked at the Average Scores and took the easier tests on those days since I could only study a few hours in the evenings. Good luck, ICS

I passed using IC only. I could have scored better but I went over the flashcards pretty fast and one time only. With an extra couple of days more I would have done better.
Good Luck

Here's some really great drug and alcohol podcast you can combine with instantcert cards!
UC Berkeley Webcasts | Video and Podcasts: Psych 119 Of course you may have to fastforward a good 10 minutes into each one before he gets into the subject. Hope this helps!
