Shocked
Too Much , Too Little, Just Right?

 Spring 18:
 Orientation/Seminar - worth 3 credits

*( During this time I retake math and finish up some CLEPS)

Summer 18 :

Math Modeling - worth 3 credits
Anatomy and Physiology - 4 credits

Fall :
Intro to Microbiology - worth 4 credits
Anatomy and Physiology II - worth 4 credits

This is just first semester , how do you think this schedule looks + balancing CLEPs?

Also are there any nurses + aspiring nursing students taking CLEPs , what were your stories/experiences? Also when should I start studying for my TEAs , NCLEXs and all?

2 face to face science labs will be a full plate, I wouldn't add anything else to Fall until you're settled in and are handling it.
I'm assuming you've already taken biology? If not, double check that you can take microbio and A&P without bio first.
IMO, add in as much as you can handle while still earning A's in those classes.
While I did not end up going to nursing school, I did all the prereqs and took the HESI (nursing programs use either the TEA or HESI so you may end up taking both at some point). I went back and checked my dates, and I took mine after ALL my science/math classes but before I applied for the nursing program. My score sheet shows Chemistry, Bio, A&P, Grammar, Math, and Vocab as the sections which will be similar to TEAS. I did not study (my error, I wasn't thinking) but still scored super high (perfect scores in most categories). I'm NOT a good test-taker, so my assessment is that if you take your exam AFTER all your sciences, it won't be nearly as hard.
