I took one of the SH practice tests and I couldn't help but notice that the listening portions were slower than the listening practice sets right below the tests.
Does anyone know how they compare to the actual CLEP?
I got 90% for the listening on the tests and about 50% on the practice tests, so I'm a bit concerned. I need a 68 on this thing to graduate.
Also, how the SH tests as a whole compare to the real CLEP would also be helpful.

If you download the CLEP Sampler, you should be able to get an idea of what the listening section will be like for this exam.

I actually tried that before. It doesn't work on 64-bit systems. banghead

Oh, sorry about that. I forgot that it works on one of my computers but not the other one.

Took it this afternoon and missed by two points, this time 'gaming the system' FAILED. The actual test is much more difficult than SpanishHour and a bit harder than the Petersen's practice tests. The test's audio is played only once, after which you have ten seconds to choose. The answers you can choose from are tricky where 2 or 3 choices will seem related to the question if you only understand 80 - 90 percent of the vocabulary but don't understand the meaning of the entire sentence. In contrast the SH audio will have 2 - 3 choices which obviously have nothing to do with the question.
