Hey guys, I was wondering if InstantCert was up to date with these four exams? I was also wondering if InstantCert would be sufficient enough by itself to pass these exams, and what are some other good supplement materials for these exams.
into to edu psychology
human growth and development
into to psychology
into to sociology
Thanks, -Chris

I think IC would be enough to pass each exam but to make sure of a passing score I would use REA.
Three College credits for the cost of IC + REA Guide - PRICELESS!
Passed CLEP & DSST, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Management, Principles of Supervision, Human Resource Management, Here's To Your Health, Civil War & Reconstruction, Drugs & Alcohol Abuse, Introduction To Psychology, Introduction To Sociology, Rise and Fall of the Soviet Union, Criminal Justice, Into to Law Enforcement, Astronomy, Environment and Humanity, Technical Writing, Foundations of Education, Western Europe Since 1945, DSST Organization Behavior, ECE Ethics: Theory & Practice, Intro to Business, ECE Abnormal Psychology, ECE World Population, ECE Psychology of Adulthood and Aging, Fundamentals of Counseling

Chris, if you use IC and Specific Exam Feedback you should do just fine.
I would start with Sociology then Psychology, Human Growth and Development and Edu Psychology. Good Luck

I joined IC about a month ago. During my first month with IC I have passed the following cleps
History of the United States II 70
Introductory Sociology 63
History of the United States I 68
American Government 59
Information Systems and Computer Applications 60
Introductory Psychology 61
Principles of Marketing 59
Principles of Management 58
I am not all that smart haven't been in school for 20 years, I work full time and raise a daughter alone. So IC will work however if your not using the members only message board you aren't using 25 percent of what your paying for. I honestly don't think the flash cards are enough to pass anything!!! But the info you will find on that board and the links are enough.
Also if you find a link for one subject that you really like look around that web site and see what else if anything it can be used to study. Point in case
Quia - Quia Web it lets you make a matching card games out of terms and like people I find by turning my material into games i learn it 10 times faster and got the 30 day free membership and use it for about every clep now.

Hi
I used IC together with REA for those 4 exams. Between the two of them, I was VERY well prepared. The order I took them in was as follows:
Intro to sociology
Intro to psych
Intro to Ed Psyc
Human Growth and development
You'll find that each exam builds on the other, so doing them in this order makes your job a lot easier! (The last two are arguable about which first...it doesn't really make a difference...)
The specific exam feedback was also extremely helpful.
Good luck!
