How are TEEX courses applied at TESU?

I've been looking around the forum, but I can't seem to find the answer. Do the free TEEX courses still count as CIS electives for the BSBA-CIS degree plan?

With the coming changes, I would guess those should be coming in as free electives or general ed electives.
Previously, from looking at the wikia wiki, it was an option to have it in the area of study concentration for the BSBA CIS.
From April onward, I am guessing it may change. I hope it doesn't as I am thinking of doing the CIS too.

The catalog chages generally impact what the specific degree requirements are, not how individual outside courses come in. It is likely these courses will be accepted the same as they ever were.

It's not impossible that they'll adjust how they accept the courses, but that's less likely than the possibility that they'll change what courses/requirements are needed for specific degrees.

They actually changed the course equivalencies a while ago, it's unclear where they're putting these now - you can't see from older posts what they will be. You have to find something very recent to see what they did in the last couple of months for someone with a BSBA in CIS.

But don't worry, there are PLENTY of inexpensive options to test out of the degree, even in AOS UL courses/exams.

I think the only place TEEX credits would fit into my BSBA in accounting/cpa is in the gen ed electives. I just recently started the teex courses...should I wait till after July to see what changes TESU makes so I don't waste my time in case they nix these from their list?

In other news, I'm probably taking a gamble not enrolling before July 1st, but hey, life just happens sometimes lol.

Oh bummer. Thanks the heads up...potentially saves me some time. Isn't it the same for the free Institutes ethics course--it'll only fill the free electives part?

The Institutes counts as 2cr gen ed but if you already have a business ethics course it will likely duplicate
