Greetings DegreeForum!
I'm in the process of applying to Hodges University, and have had some difficulties with regular communications with my admissions counselor.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggested counselors to go with that might invest a greater deal of effort, time and responsiveness to my inquiries?
An example of the issues I've faced is the need to repeat multiple times my student status, though it was written a few times before in the same email. Inquiries not being responded to entirely are also a frustrating matter, and the process has taken much longer than what I had hoped it would.
The university itself seems to offer an attractive opportunity through it's UPower program, but the gatekeepers are taking away from that attractiveness...

I'm speaking with a Christine. I just text her and that's how we communicate. I called her once but now we just text. It's pretty chill.
Call the main desk and ask to be transferred to her.
She's cool. She answers all questions and everything.
That being said. I didn't have many questions because I did part of undergrad with them. Although I hated it. I'm still planning on going through them.
I'm applying for the MPA program.
What program are you applying for?

Cool! I am going with them as well, I just finally decided to get an MIS from Hodges vs at Patten for their MBA IT. I will try and finish it in one term starting April or May when I get back from my trip. It’s 33-39 credits, 33 if you have taken undergraduate MIS & Project Management. I’ll save some cash for an MBA at WGU when their ACBSP accreditation changes from candidate to fully accredited status.

I was looking towards the MIS from Hodges, and then try for the UofIllinois iMBA after completion.
Being an international student residing in Korea limits my options a fair bit due to funding considerations (credit card is pretty much the only option; cant obtain a bank loan or payment options due to being a 'foreigner'). At the very least, having the MIS from Hodges will bolster my application a fair bit moving forward with future career options, which is the immediate goal.
I'll look into the Christine individual, yb1. Thank you for the information!
