I am having trouble finding study resources for the Art of the Western World DSST. Can anyone give me advice for studying? I have no prior knowledge or experience in Art but I have to pass. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you are a member here- check out the specific feedback forum, and flashcards for art and architecture found in Humanities flashcards. I went to Library and checked out ALL the kids picture books on artists (haha, easy read and they focus on the main points). I also had just taken an Art Appreciation course which helped, but just check out an art book on Art of the Western World and skim through it.

Here is a link to Annenburg Media, Art of the Western World.
Resource: Art of the Western World
This video series should actually help you pass the exam. It probably is the best study guide out there for this exam.

I was preparing for this exam as a pre-req for my Masters. I watched the videos ( They are really good) and I bought a couple of used art books off Amazon cheap. I was getting near ready then had a change in my plans. I also had no prior art knowledge, I hate reading about a subject I find boring I usually fall asleep, but the videos were interesting to me and I learned a lot. The books just gave me a better chance to look at some of the important pieces and see all the important parts.
