I just passed the Intro to Psych Clep. I need to take 2 more Social Sciences in order to graduate. I figured HG&D and Intro to Educational Psych is my best case scenario. Any words of wisdom for these exams? Any other study materials? About how long did it take to study for these 2 exams (I am just looking to average myself)?
Thanks so muchSmile

I took all 3 CLEP Psych tests last year to get a 9 lower credit depth requirement. I too began with Intro to Psych. I did a massive 4 month+ study using many sources as this was my first attempt at anything "scholarly" in 20 years (and I knew NOTHING about Psychology!) I then proceeded to HG&D 2 months later (the most difficult of the three in my opinion,) then Ed Psych one month after that. I used IC to a small degree (my brain doesn't seem to like fill-in-the-blanks,) the REA guides, Peterson's tests, the textbooks from the iStudySmart course list (if you like these textbooks, purchase them used from Amazon - they're usually incredibly cheap,) Wikipedia/Internet, the 2011 CLEP Official Study Guide (very helpful,) and of course the IC Specific Exam Feedback (very, very, helpful for all tests.)

Both HG&D and Ed Psych build upon Intro to Psych, so if you know that material you should continue do well. Good Luck!Smile
