I doubt TESU will count is as UL since it comes in as a 200-level in the PLA search, but you have the 15 UL with the other courses.
Okay, the incompletes make sense. Plan Lit in English though Milton/ Lit in English Mid-19th- 20th Centuries for the survey.
There is a LIT-320 Shakespeare I in the TESU PLA search database, so if she is lucky her Shakespeare class will come in as UL.
If not, that UT 20th Century Short Story should work.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

Bummer, I was really trying to avoid that second UT course.

My only input here: if she wants to switch from an English major to a BALS, it's more easily done. And, to be a teacher in CA, you do not need a specific degree. You need a 4-yr degree, and then the 1-yr credential program, but you could have a degree in one thing, and get your credential in something else entirely. I have a friend who is just finishing her credential, she has a BSBA in Marketing, but is becoming a K-8 teacher. My son's math teacher has her degree in English. So there are more options for her there.
Oh yeah, and I would apply to TESU before making any decisions, so that you can see where the classes are placed. You never know when they will count a course as UL, and the fact that these are coming from 2 UC schools makes a difference.

I was already planning to suggest she apply now. I will mention the BALS as a possibility, but I'm actually pretty happy with this plan. We didn't have to waste any credits, which is awesome. No matter the school, she would have to earn the same number of credits, and at TESU, any major would need the same number of UL credits.
Compared to the cost of returning to Cal, the tuition for the UT courses really doesn't signify. Her reaction to this list was that they sounded interesting, so she would probably prefer these to any other UL courses I could dig up...She really loves English, and would rather write than take tests and quizzes.
Also, I've got to think that having the English degree would help in landing an English teaching position at a good district... Of course so would graduating from Cal.

Thought I would post an update for folks My daughter is doing much better, and she's almost got those incompletes sewn up. She's going back to Cal for fall semester and has found a place to live in Berkeley. I'm quite proud of her perseverance.
