Hesitant to give SL a 2nd shot

My teenage son took 7 SL courses this past month, the last of which was business law. He told me business law was the most challenging for him, by far, but he completed it with an 80%. Having the right textbook is VITAL - he used the hell out of his book for all tests and the open book final. Many of the test questions came word-for-word from the text. I believe you can also have one sheet of notes, back and forth, so if you have certain things you struggle with on the tests, you can print out the questions/answers or relevant information to help you. My son found the final exam really difficult and scored only around a 60% on it, but his score going in was 87% so he still passed the course.

If you want to try some other courses which might be easier, I've read that business law is generally regarded as the hardest non-science course on SL. My son breezed through US History, Intro to Business, Environmental Science, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Business Ethics, all in a 30 day period. He pre-read most of the textbooks before he began his subscription in order to make the most of his time. It turned out to be a good plan!
