Welcome, I thought Straighterline had Accounting 1 & 2? I know the school that I used to teach at teaches Spanish 1 online, but only in the fall, so that won't help you now. What about a CD spanish course then take the CLEP spanish? Just a thought given your tight timetable. Human growth and development, just use the flashcards and exam feedback and you should do ok. Spark Notes / Charts are always helpful as well. Good Luck!

Hi and welcome. You can take accounting I and II on Straighterline. They're not easy, but only have 6 tests each, so much better than the 19 some odd tests for SL Macro and Micro.
Do you need College Algebra or will a College Math CLEP suffice? Depending on your goals, there may be easier ways.
What are your goals - what's your major? Also, why were you planning on taking an online Spanish I and then Spanish II on campus?
Would love to hear more detail so we can make better recommendations.

Criminal Justice and medicine are totally different. I don't know a thing about CJ, but there are a couple of people I've seen here that are studying CJ, so I would assume that CLEP/DSST/SL are ok.
Regarding your interest in the medical field.... I am not sure that more than just a few tests would work for you. I don't know a lot about Physician's assisting, but a good friend of mine who majored in microbiology at a well-known school, had a GPA in the high 3's and couldn't get accepted into a PA program. Keep in mind, I know no details, just what she told me... I guess my point is that for some majors, you're best testing out of as much as possible, yet for others, this might not be the right idea.
My suggestion would be to figure out what you want to do before spending a lot of time and money to test. Sorry! That may not be what you want to hear, but I would hate to see anyone with a bunch of credits that won't help them.

I take online credit classes thru Edukan (Kansas Consortium of Community Colleges (3 credit class is only $375). I'm pretty sure they have a Spanish class. Plus they have an 8, 10, 12 week start times, Session 3 is 8 weeks and starts in March I believe.

I have a US HIstory II clep scheduled for March first. I haven't learned this information in 5 years!
Do you think I could pass with the Clep REA book and Instantcert?
How many hours, on average, for a Clep, have you spent on Instantcert?
Any suggestions as to how I should study?

The REA book is good for us history. Read the entire book and do the practice exams, know each answer. Then do instantcert. Don't try to spend as few hours studying as possible or you might fail. This is like a final exam for a four month college course so you have to know the information cold.
