It is alot of work getting a Graphic Design degree. Alot of classes go into it. I would look at a local CC in your area that has an agreement with a state college or university so you can transfer. Also do check out the schools Clepping and DSST policies. You could possible get your gen ed's done that way. The Art Inst online is very expensive and I would stay away from that. Now I do have some news for you at TESC and COSC you could use graphic design credits to get your degree in ART at TESC or Studio Art at COSC. Thats if you need a BA. Now I just sent a student in that direction. She had her cert in Graphic Design and another one in Illustration. She also use alot of her old college credits to make up her BA in Art at TESC. She is also doing Aleks for math and some cleps to fill the rest in.

Thanks! We do have a Multimedia and Design program locally. I didn't think that those credits would transfer into TESC. But I will certainly look into this further.

If the school is RA you should be all set. You only have the one mulit media program in your area, thats not good. I have 5 programs within a 1 hr radius from where I live. 2 universities, 1 CC, 1 profit school and a art school. Keep looking.
