Ok, I am facing an issue where I am less than a credit short after my English comp 2 and History of Vietnam war transfers in but I started thinking I have all these credits and wouldn't have been short before so why am I short now? Upon some thorough investigation, I think I may have discovered what happened If you look at the screenshots below you can see that my BA 225 and Writing 320 were put into the Info literacy section which put me over the 3 credits required. I had Intro to world religions transferred in but it was placed in the LIB studies 15 units section. My BA225 used to be in the spot for world religions so I am thinking if they swapped the 2 it would fulfill both areas because in the 15 unit area I would have 15.33. This would also leave me an extra course BA 320 Professional writing... My question is can the BA 320 be placed in the Additional Gen Ed electives area where I am .32 units short? I am wondering if it will work? and if not can art or something else be swapped around to make it work?
With this format, it's impossible for me to figure out what's going on. But the short answer is, YES, just have them switch. Tech Writing (ENG-201) or Religion (REL-277) can both go into Info Lit, and both are 3cr, so it should work.
The reason BA220 - Gender Work & Society - won't go into Gen Ed's or AOS is because they have it classified as a MAN course. If you could appeal, you could get them to reclassify it as a SOC course, in which case it could be used in multiple places.
The courses down in other are classified as Free Electives - ACC/MAN/LAW/BUS, CDS, FEL, PEA, CAP - are not Gen Ed's. With the single exception of Org Behavior, which has a MAN classification, but which is also considered a PSY course (why they don't just call it PSY I don't know).

What are you going to do about Ethics?
The Business ethics from SL i was planning to have moved up and History of Vietnam war placed where that is
Will writing 320 for 2.67 credits fit anywhere that will be available once intro to world religions is moved up.

I thought you were going to have Writing moved down to the AOS along with the other course, and then Religion moved up to take their places?

Yes i forgot, I thought they just put the credits your short down in gen eds? I am wondering why the evaluation shows two classes in one spot and not fulfilled with exception? It's wasting the extra classes I would have had to fulfill gen ed elective credits.

LOL, it's not as complex or hard as you think it is.... Your original plan should work exactly, so to recap.
You don't have to worry about the extra credits that aren't used, you've got plenty of them, but it won't go anywhere.
A) Info Literacy - Move REL-277 World Religion back to this spot to take up the 3 required credits.
B) Liberal Studies - Move BA225 Report Writing back to this spot to take up 2.67 credits, bringing you to 15.33 as you said
C) Additional Gen Ed Electives - Move that final course WR320 Prof Writing in here and you will have 19.68 credits
Update: You don't want to move anything else as it'll get more complicated.
Just email them and ask to have those three courses moved exactly as I just typed.
You should get an email reply if they can or can't do it... let us know either way.
Final note: You shouldn't bother appealing the MAN/Sociology course, you can do that if the "moves don't work out".
