Holy cow, that's a big difference. I guess it depends on what kind of job you want. I think a job in Finance is going to be much easier to get if you have a Finance degree.
I always think a BALS is just a check-the-box degree for someone who needs a degree for their current job, and it doesn't matter what kind. You should probably think long and hard before deciding, because honestly, this is not the most successful degree on the planet. There are better ones out there.
