I got cocky. I've passed every CLEP and DSST I've ever taken. The Principles of Finance DSST was the last test I had to take before starting 2 TCEPs at Thomas Edison. I brushed up a little and crammed for the test but didn't give it the proper attention that I should have. Come exam night I failed the exam by 1 question! Arugh!!! One question!
I can wait 90 days to retake it, but my enrollment with TESC ends before then. My only option for POF credit without extending enrollment is to take it through Uexcel. So, I'm wondering if anyone here has taken the Uexcel PoF exam. If so:
1. How did it go for you?
2. Were you able to use a BA II plus calculator?
3. Are the questions straight forward, or do they get a bit tricky. (I see on their info sheet for the test that there are fewer questions, but the same time allotment as the DSST.)
4. Is there any reason to buy the book they recommend, or does the test cover what I can find in any other POF text?
Thank you so much for your help!
