I need UL credits in History and English area of study. I have a BS already and I am leaning towards returning to TESU. Unfortunately, I focused on knocking out lower levels but the upper level options are scarcer now.
I currently have a WWII UL course from an RA school.
With Schmoop gone, I have found SDC accepted by TESU for upper level credits with Non-Western Lit and Advanced Technical Writing for English, as well as Vietnam War, Historiography, and the Holocaust for History. Are there any other options for upper level History or English credits at TESU besides cheaper RA schools like BYU?
I also have passed some DSST tests from 2013-2014 in Modern Middle East, Vietnam War, and Western Europe. The TESU current catalog recommends lower level credits for the ones I could match. Is there any way to get these transcripted as UL, as I believe they were recommended as such at the time I took them?

UMPI has both History and English degrees. That could be a good option for you.
On the other hand, if you would prefer to stick with TESU, there are options here:
English: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
History: https://degreeforum.miraheze.org/wiki/Sa...egree_Plan
In progress:
TESU - BA Computer Science; BSBA CIS; ASNSM Math & CS; ASBA
Completed:
Pierpont - AAS BOG
Sophia (so many), The Institutes (old), Study.com (5 courses)
ASU: Human Origins, Astronomy, Intro Health & Wellness, Western Civilization, Computer Appls & Info Technology, Intro Programming
Strayer: CIS175, CIS111, WRK100, MAT210

Hmm, so Poetic Light, did you take any courses at TESU? Could you list your academic evaluation? If you have a Bachelors, your general education/free electives are good to go. You just need to get the 24 credits in the new major. If you're going for both the English & History major, there are requirements for each, you need to satisfy... I think staying with TESU is the best option if you do not need to pay the residency waiver fee, it would mean you only pay the capstone & graduation fee for the win! The only other major costs would be the UL requirements for both the English & History requirements...

My ultimate goal is to use this to qualify for a teaching license, so an equivalent number of credits may be acceptable instead of a second degree.

You've got 15 out of 16 TESU residency credits. If you take a 3-credit English or Literature UL class instead of the single-credit LL Jane Austin class at TESU, you can kill two birds with one stone. UL English credit (instead of BYU or UIdaho) and no residency waiver. This sounds like a bargain to me.
