Mathematics courses suitable for a major that are totally delivered online?
#1
Are there many choices for this? At TESC they have a few math courses, and most of them are online, however I am just curious about the other options. TESC often uses proctorU for their tests, so you can have an entirely online course, without a need to sit an exam or anything. Any other choices, it would be great if textbooks were available in ebook form as well.
Goal - BA Mathematics Major at TESC

Could you use ALEKS Intermediate Algebra or Algebra? They are both 100 level courses at TESC. Shouldn't take you too long since you did Stats and College Math already.
My completed "non-traditional" credits include 27 credits from CLEP, 30 credits from DSST, 6 credits from ALEKS, 19 credits from FEMA courses including PDS, 3 credits from NFA courses, 10 credits from ACE Workplace Training, 3 credits from a TESC TECEP exam, and 3 credits from a TESC PLA course.

Unfortunately ALEKS doesn't count towards the major, except possibly their STATS, and I've already done pretty much every course with them for the sake of review.
Thomas Edison State College: Mathematics

"Note: The following courses are examples of the types of mathematics courses that CANNOT be used in the mathematics area of study: college algebra, finite math, precalculus, trigonometry. These courses are not advanced level mathematics courses."

Most likely it would have to be a community college/university course that was online, with online tests. I suppose Ohio U's math tests would also suffice. On the page they list some suggested courses:

B. Mathematics Electives*
*(planned)LIB-495 Liberal Arts Capstone strongly recommended
Abstract Algebra
Advanced Calculus
Applied Mathematics
Calculus IV (Differential Equations)
Complex Variables
Cryptography and Cryptanalysis
*(planned)Geometry (prerequisite of calculus or more advanced math)
Graph Theory
*(planned)History of Mathematics
Mathematical Logic
*(planned)Mathematical Modeling
Matrix Algebra
Modern Algebra
Multivariate Analysis
Non-Parametric Statistics
Number Theory
Projective Geometry
Sampling Theory
Topology
