"and/ or Saylor Corporate Communication"

Can you give me a good link that explains how we get credit for Saylor courses? Everything I read makes it seem like it's just test prep and then you have to take a CLEP or something to get any credit anyway?

I wish Coursera courses gave credits, those courses are so great.

Saylor has 3 NCCRS approved courses that require a proctored final exam. Saylor will send a transcript to TESC. Coursera offers a few ACE approved courses, but they have specific start dates, and some of the courses haven't been offered since they received approval.

Here is the page that explains how to put Saylor courses on an NCCRS transcript to send to TESC/EC/COSC/ etc.:
National College Credit Recommendation Service (NCCRS) « Saylor.org – Free Online Courses Built by Professors

And here is the one that explains how Saylor courses are aligned to TECEP exams:
Thomas Edison State College TECEP Exams « Saylor.org – Free Online Courses Built by Professors
Currently they have aligned one course (CMP-354-TE Networking Technologies) to a TECEP and have several others in progress.

And while we are at it, they have several more courses aligned with Excelsior exams (Macroeconomics, Calculus, Intro to Psych, with Microeconomics and Comp I/ College Writing in the works.

The credits aren't put on an NCCRS transcript. NCCRS does not issue transcripts.

Quote:Contact the Registrar at the organization that sponsored the course or learning experience and obtain an official transcript and/or have an official transcript sent to the college or university of your choice. (NCCRS does NOT issue transcripts.)
