I saw this post, was curious if anyone has heard of it or is in the process of going through it?

I've never heard of this, but if you don't ever plan to work for the government and don't need regional accreditation... it could be a great option! Although, going the test-out route may still be cheaper in some cases. I'll let someone else here who is a math whiz figure that out. I think they have an interesting format and are onto something though. I am totally loving that they offer a classes in:

Managing Residential Rehabilitation
Sexual Issues In Addictions
Social Entrepreneurship
* All $600 each

Plus they have a few CFRE courses.

The cost would just be a bit too much for me at this point, but if I had extra money around I'd take those courses.

I knew they had a partnership with City Vision University, but lost interest once I saw their accreditation. Since these are only business programs, you might as well go to the Big 3 and test out of a degree from a regionally accredited school. Also, University of the People is a little bit cheaper and offers business degrees. It's interesting, nonetheless.

Not when you can test out of a Regionally accredited degree for about the same cost. Agree that it's interesting though.

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

I have a spreadsheet showing how to completely test out or use cheap courses like Saylor at TESU for $3000 including all fees. So, I don't think it's a great deal for anyone concerned. Even if you wanted a BALS, and had to take a capstone, that still comes in under $5000 (don't have the exact number handy).

All of this is using resources that we on this forum know about (ALEKS, Saylor, CLEP, DSST, TECEP, Straighterline, Kaplan, Insurance Ethics, TEEX & NFA).
