The religion DSST is not too hard but it does have a wide area of coverage. As Bricabrac said once you pass the exam you can apply for Graduation the next day. I did that for both AA and BA they rushed things along and I made graduation dates. I took my last test for my AA on June 12 and applied on June 13, I was approved and made the July 1st cutoff.

You were wondering why DSST says 3 weeks. I believe the timeframe given by the various testing agencies is the longest time it might take. This also accounts for those candidates who might take the paper/pencil version of the exams as there is still the time it takes for the testing agency to receive/process/score the scantron.
I do want to mention that DSST does offer an overnight service to candidates. You would need to contact DSST by phone after testing. Official score reports are printed a couple of times each week and you want to make sure they have your request on file so that they can pull the official copy before it automatically goes in first class mail. I cannot recall offhand how much they charge for this service, but the phone rep would be able to tell you and take down your credit card info while on the phone.

Wow, thanks bgsu! Calling Dsst right now, to find out how much that costs.
Poor phone reps they still working.. they said $25 for overnight mailing. Not bad at all. They said if i don't pay then it takes 7 days to get it in the system then they mail it. Interesting.
I guess World Religions it is. I'm glad I know this but knowing myself I will prob wait till the last day to take it knowing now there is overnight shipping.

msantos Wrote:Thanks John, but most are business courses. I am majoring in Liberal Arts ( business courses not allowed- learned that hard way) I think World Religions is def the course I'm gonna take. I'm just worried about if the transcript gonna get to TESC on time.
I definitely vote for World Religions. I got Religions of the World from the library (recommended text from DSST exam info sheet), read it in 3 days, went through the flashcards a couple times, and passed. You could really do it with flashcards alone. I found it very easy for an UL test. If you do what bricabrac said, it sounds like your best bet. You can always keep on top of it and get the extension last minute. Good luck!

I'm confused.. Dsst said the overnight score report is $25.. but the transcript overnight is $55. Which one do I need to send to TESC by the 14th deadline ( when my enrollment expires) ??
Btw my exam is taken via computer.

completed my graduation form for BA LIBERAL ARTS.. in less than 2 years!!! startin with 0 credits ahhh
Thanks 2 every1!!
Please be in prayer send positive vibes whatever you believe in that the people at TESC quickly post my last DSST score.
"(They can begin processing your file (bursar) but it will be held for audit until the transcript arrives and is posted.) It can TAKE AS LITTLE AS 2 DAYS to officially post when you are in the graduation queue."
I completed DSST last week and paid for overnight shipping. DSST stated the score report will arrive tomorrow. Just in time for my enrollment to expire (1/14/12) if all goes as planned!

Once you see the transcript has posted as received call or email the graduation specialist. She will take it from there. Congratulations!!!
