People have talked about needing a GPA in other threads but I still can't find anything that definitely says you do. Before I signed up for any courses at TESU, my transcript said all of my GPA requirements were "met" with no GPA except what had been transferred. I enrolled as of March.
It's not a big deal to me either way, as I'll have a GPA from one TESU psych course and the liberal arts capstone, but I do think there's some confusion.

Mine says overall GPA met and under the TESU GPA it is blank. I would verify with the college whether you have to take a course for a TESU GPA in order to graduate or not. There was a recent change, we're not too sure as when it's going to be fully implemented or when it's starting. I will assume it has started April 1. My guess is anyone who was enrolled after April 1 will need to get an evaluation done for their GPA at TESU. I'm not sure when the website was updated to include that GPA sentence, I believe it was a week or two after April 1. If this is true, I am just going to take the Cornerstone as it's required as of May 25.

I asked advising about this because my academic evaluation indicated my overall GPA was met, but my institutional GPA (i.e. TESU GPA) was not met. Advising told me that I needed to earn a 2.0+ @ TESU to meet that requirement. The only way to earn that institutional/TESU GPA is to take a course through the college.

I just looked at my eval again and I don't even have the language of institutional GPA. My eval addresses GPA in 2 places. Near the top where total hours are listed and just at area of study
Language used in total credits area is Overall GPA met YES; TESU GPA 2.00 In AOS it's: GPA achieved/needed: none/2.00

Anyone seen any info on the actual cornerstone course yet (course code, syllabus, etc.)? I'll be exempt from the requirement to take it, but I need a GPA for job purposes and a cornerstone sounds better than the 1 cr. PLA course. I've been in the search/register/drop course section of the OSS and haven't seen anything.

good to know I'm not the only one checking OSS for info on this course; i'll be taking it for GPA reasons as well, but as a needed boost to mine. additionally, this course is actually cheaper than a 1-credit course, since the flat fee is less than tuition per credit.
