Can anyone confirm that TESC will accept Advanced Composition for the English II requirement? It is ACE approved. Not really interested in Clepping or Straighterline for this one. I already have English I from Penn Foster College on my ACE transcript.
ACE registry has Advanced Composition for Penn Foster College classified as is:
"In the lower division baccalaureate/associate degree category, 3 semester hours in Advanced Composition and Rhetoric (3/11). "
I tried emailing TESC, however they claim I just need to send my transcripts in for evaluation. For a definite answer!? If some one can do this favor for me if you are a TESC student and can ask please! Me and a current forum member are interested on the answer.
Thanks a bunch!

Bump...... Come on I know some one knows the answer heh... Can anyone help a fella out? I'll give you Straighterline books, money, anything I just need this answer thanks!
Need this answer deeply please. All you have to do is ask TESC *if you are a student of course* if they accept Advanced Composition from PFC for it's English 2 requirement at TESC. Like I said they asked me to pay an evaluation for them to answer that, I don't want to throw up $75 cash if they say no.
Thanks!

Yeah it would be great if someone could verify this with TESC. The course is only 4 papers vs 7 of Straighterline and does not have a proctored final which is great too. Seems like a very interesting alternative for English Comp II.

I can't answer this ,but if your wanting true confirmation I think only TESC can offer that. If I may ask... if your planning to complete your degree this year you will have to pay that same $75 anyway so there is no advantage to waiting. Like I said just my opinion , I don't work for the School or anything. I am enrolled and paid the $75 in December and my 2 cents is it was well worth it for the evaluation. If you want to post or message me the exact info for the course and I'll e-mail TESC the question if it equates to English Comp II. Make sure you include whatever info they may want so we don't have to go back and forth. (Not that I mind the back and forth ,but if we can send them everything they may want to know you should have an answer Monday sometime.)
Side note I just finished English Comp2 from SL and can say that there were alot of writing assignments ,but I submitted 5 in one day got them graded within 24-48hours.

Alright sounds good! Thank you MRHTOAD76! Yes the reason why I didn't want to pay the $75 evaluation to TESC is because I am also considering Excelsior as well. So I didn't want to pay the evaluation just yet. But I will message you exactly what needs to be asked! Thanks again we appreciate it!

Just a quick note I dont know if ACE king has sent you an email with the name of the course
But it is ICS-0235 Advanced Composition from PFC.
and if you could also double check if
International Business ICS-0219
Also from PFC would satisfy the requirements for Business in Society / International Management. That would be greatly appreciated too
Thank you very much!
