Okay... So I did some planning today. And plenty of thinking.
I'm not a person who quits or needs psychological help simply because I don't like being bullied or picked on. I feel no one likes to be bullied no matter how much help that person may be thinking they are delivering. Things are interrupted in different ways by different people. Saying "Shut up." to one person can mean another thing to another person.
I take things differently because I am a unique women who has spent the last 11 years writing and working on building websites along side men who think they are God.
In my current career I have burnt out of the fun of most of it. While I will always love writing novels and short stories and will continue to work for others as a ghostwriter -- I'm ready to work on a back up plan to fall back onto something and not have to struggle any longer.
I am VERY ready to dedicate time , energy and a crap load of money to becoming a doctor and having the respect I deserve and will earn with plenty of hard work and sweat. I'm not a quitter and don't plan on being one. Bravery is something that has driven my success via writing for years and it will be used to drive my success in school and in my future.
Whatever path way God leads me to... I welcome them all... no matter how bumpy that pathway may be.
YES... I don't intend on going to a traditional college just yet... sue me... I don't care what you think about me putting my infant child first over that. I however DO plan on pushing off large projects and focusing on the studies and work needed to complete my degree online. That alone is a huge commitment in the eyes of my husband and I because the money I bring in may decrease as much as 50%. When she is older, I most likely will do those courses if they are required.
YES... I'm sensitive. It allows me to get into the heart of a children's book while writing. But I have learned over the years to take a different look on the words people say. From people who say mean things to people who don't mean to say something mean but it's taken that way... when I don't know someone ... it takes time for me to learn their ways and determine the goal of the things they are saying.
So...
My husband and I looked online at some Acupuncture clinics all over California. One thing many of them had in common was the doctors there had degrees in nutrition or holistic medicine certificates at least. Only three of the maybe 25 we looked at had a DC as well. And they only earned it late in their clinic history.
By placing that kind of degree before chiropractic studies it allows me to work towards a different kind of doctorate that can be earned online. And then if I desire to expand my education while my clinic is already open -- I can do so.
So here's my plan...
