Hi Everyone!
I officially finished my summer courses yesterday. It was my first session at UMPI and I loved it! I have 2 classes left for the BLS and 2 more for my third minor (they weren't offered in Summer 2). So I have 4 left for Fall 1 and then I will finally have my degree! Thank you all for all the encouragement and info; I wouldn't even have known about this school had it not been for you all.
I think I saw on previous posts that grades won't be posted on Maine Street until a week or two after the end of the session. Could you please let me know (roughly) when you have usually gotten them? I need to submit my grades to my employer for partial reimbursement, so I'm just trying to have a ballpark idea to avoid refreshing every few hours.
Thanks again and stay safe!

Grades are due the Friday after the term ends. You can check your MaineStreet every day and see when they post. Often times they will be posted before the due date.

Great, thank you so much!

Hi again. Are grades due the Friday after each session? Or after the full term? Sorry, I started the second summer session and I'm wondering whether I have to wait until this (Fall 1) session ends or the full fall term. Thanks again!

The Friday after the term ends. Sometimes you will see some early and sometimes you won't see them until the Monday after. They don't wait until the end of the semester.
Your grades for the summer sessions were posted months ago. You just have to look in your MaineStreet account.

Thanks and sorry. To clarify, I meant that since Summer Session 2 was my first session at UMPI, it wasn't clear to me whether I had received my grades when I did because the session had ended or because the whole summer term had ended. So now that I'm done with Fall Session 1, I was curious as to whether my grades will post a week or so after this session ends or a week or so after Fall Session 2 ends. If I'm understanding you correctly, it seems to be the latter. Thank you again.

It is the latter.
For example this term ends October 22nd, grades are due by October 29th. But, this isn't solid.
Last term I was in ended on Friday, August 27. Grades would've been due by Friday September 3. But, one class didn't post until September 10th.

This session (Fall 1) ends 10/22. I think my confusion is coming from how we use "term" and "session" at this school. All the financial aid emails I've gotten refer to sessions and terms/semesters (they may be incorrect. but the 2 people I've spoken to there seem to use term and semester interchangeably). In other words, each session is eight weeks. 6 sessions a year. 3 terms or semesters (Fall, Spring, Summer). 2 sessions = 1 term or semester. Anyway, I understand now. I just wanted to clarify in case any future non-native people get confused also. Thanks again, both of you are awesome.

Term = Session. Session is used for online students. Term is used for brick and mortar and grading.

Got it! Thanks so much. I get why they were saying that now. I literally went through my email and saw that Cody used it the way I initially understood it also. I wish they would just say session to YourPace students to make things clearer, but I understand now. Thanks for explaining so patiently.
